How it works

Browse the Hirestreet website to find your favourite outfits. Once you have found something you love click into the product, on the right hand side select your size, rental period and delivery date and then add to bag. Please note that all outfits are available to hire from 4 to 16 days. If you have any questions about size/fit our online chat team will be more than happy to help.

Before proceeding to checkout, review all the items in your bag to ensure you are happy with your chosen rental dates. You can opt to add insurance for any of your items at this stage. This will cover you for accidental damages.

At checkout tell us where to ship your outfits. Please note, we charge a rental fee of £3 for every unique delivery date in your order. If you have multiple items being delivered on the same date you will only be charged this fee once.

When your outfits arrive please try them on - keeping the ribbon in place. Only remove the ribbon once you have decided to wear the outfit for your event.

We hope you love your outfit but if you don’t and need to exchange the item or return it for rental credit then please get in touch with [email protected] within 48 hours of it being delivered. If it’s your first order you are eligible to receive a refund.

Our usual order packaging is resealable and will contain a returns label. Once you have worn your outfits please place them inside returns bag and seal it. Orders sent in our suit carriers will contain and security tag. When you need to return your rentals, please place them back in the suit carrier, seal with the security tag and place the returns label in the front pouch on the outside of the carrier. You do not need to wash any of the clothes - we do that for you.

Please ensure that your return has been dropped off at the Post Office on or before midday on your designated return date. You can find information on your return date in the My Account section and also on your confirmation email. You must keep your proof of postage receipt - this is to ensure you are not unfairly charged in cases where Royal Mail have lost the items.

My order has arrived but I don’t like it?

If you are not happy with how your item looks, please let us know within 48 hours of it arriving and we can arrange an exchange or give you rental credit.

Please note, we do offer a Try On Service for customers who wish to trial items before committing to wearing them.

If it is your first rental and you are unhappy with the service in any way, then please contact customer service who will process a refund for you.

How does an exchange work?

If your dress has arrived and you don’t love it, and you would like to receive an exchange as a replacement then simply contact customer service who will create an Exchange Code for you.

Once you have your exchange code, you simply choose the dress you would like instead, add it to your basket and checkout with your code. The code will subtract the value of your original rental from your exchanged item, so if you are exchanging your dress for an item that is more expensive, there might be a slight difference to pay.

How does rental credit work?

When you return a dress unworn, we give you rental credit to spend on future bookings. The credit will be equal to the value of your unworn items, and will be redeemable for the next six months. For example, if you have rented a dress for £30, but you don’t end up wearing it, once that item is returned to the Warehouse with tags on and passes our quality check, you will receive a £30 voucher to spend on a future order.
