I got this piece because I was doing a two-week trip to France over Christmas and New Year's on just a personal item, so everything I packed needed pull its weight. This jacket gave me flexibility on temperature; on very cold days, I wore it over my lightweight down jacket and the result was essentially a full-scale winter coat. On the mildest days, I could wear this piece over a jumper. The pockets are massive (in a good way).
