Wore this dress to a Christening, very comfortable and stunning gold colour, but do wear a slip! I purchased the John Lewis Rae Firm Control Slip to wear with this dress, but any slip will do. It's not that the fabric is see-through, but it's not lined, so if you have light behind you then the fabric can be sort-of transparent and show your thighs in quite explicit detail! Otherwise really lovely silky dress.

Beautiful dress, stunning gold colour, but do wear a slip underneath! I wore it to a Christening which was perfect, but I did buy the John Lewis Rae Firm Control Slip to wear under the dress (any slip will do really). It's not that the fabric is see-through, but it is only single layer (NOT lined) so if you have the light behind you it becomes transparent and very explicit details of your thighs will show unless you wear something else underneath!
