Oh Polly Monte Carlo Embellished Strapless Maxi Dress in Blue Ombré

Monte Carlo is a maxi dress design with all-over delicate hand embellishment, placed to create a scene-stealing ombré effect. Complete with a bust-flattering cowl neckline, narrow split on reverse and adjustable multi strap detailing. 

Featuring:

•Cowl neckline
•Adjustable shoulder straps 
•Self tie halter neck fastening
•Hook and eye and hidden zipper fastening at reverse of bralet
•Fully embellished with seeded beading

Material

Premium velvet fabric with jersey lining (Shell: 95% Polyester, 5% Elastane, Lining: 95% Polyester 5% Elastane). Fully lined. Due to the delicate nature of this fabric, this style should be dry cleaned only.

    Lovely dress for holidays

    Lovely dress, wore this on holiday, I'd have sized up potentially as I'm between an 8 -10. Tight on the hips for me but I'm narrower on top so it was ok!

    Much nicer in person!

    No pictures do this dress justice it’s so sparkly in the light, very flattering it’s quite tight around the bust so I would say size up of you have bigger boobs, heavy material and I’d describe it as more teal/turquoise than blue

    I hired the pink one for my birthday. Loved the dress so much I wanted to try it on blue. My size was not available, so I sized up. It was a little too big, so definitely get your size.

    Loved some things about this

    Got this for a wedding but ended up wearing a different dress. Let’s start with pros: colour is stunning, love the ombré, beautiful sparkles, great neckline.

    Things I didn’t love - the cut out on the back is wide. I’m not normally self-conscious about my back, but in this dress I was! Second was the waist didn’t nip in quite enough on me (maybe too big a size?) so I looked slightly more column-like than I would’ve otherwise. I normally wear a size 12-14 and had this in a 14, but suspect a 12 might’ve been too small? Not sure. But this is quite classic “Oh Polly” problems.

    Anyway - this is a stunning dress and some people will love! But I probably wouldn’t hire again.
