Lavish Alice Stretch Sequin Cowl Neck Midi Dress In Silver

Wore this dress to a work black tie event! I have hips so sometimes designer items are hard to size up. I'm a size 6-8 on top, and 8-10 on bottom depending on the retailer, I got a size UK 8 and it fit me perfectly, there is a good amount of stretch and its really comfortable to wear all night. The only watch out is the cowl neckline is quite low so be prepared to tuck it into a bra, or buy tape if you'd prefer to have something a bit more modest.

I loved this dress and I got so many compliments from complete strangers when I wore it! It turned out to be a champagne colour, rather than the silver it looks on the website, so the silver shoes I had ready were no good and gold ones had to be got quickly. This dress would be perfect for someone with a big bust but slim hips. I found a way to tuck the cowl neck into my bra that looked great, because lacking the assets top fill it, it was a bit drapey. I am a slim hipped size 12 and this fitted me perfectly, but for a more curvy hipped 12, it may have been too small. I'm pleased I kept it for a month because I loved and found an occasion to wear it for a second time.
