Hirestreet takes precautions for the security and privacy of your personal data. As a "data controller" (meaning we decide what personal data we collect about you and what we use it for) we take our responsibilities under GDPR law seriously.

Over the course of your job application, we will need to collect and use personal data, such as these categories:

Information contained in your CV including but not limited to: name, surname, title, personal photo, date of birth, position, hyperlinks to social networks, address, email address, phone number, educational background, work experience.


How Do We Collect Your Personal Data?

Most of the personal information that we collect about you will come directly from you at the beginning of the recruitment process. We may also collect personal data about you from other sources, such as:

  • Recruitment or employment agencies, background check providers (Where applicable), referees and former employees


Data Collection Purpose

The collected data will be used solely for the selection process. This process may include the following:

  • Verification of the entered data;
  • Reference checks;
  • Assessment of the qualifications and skills needed to perform the job your applying for;
  • Communication concerning the process (emails, phone calls, SMS messages, WhatsApp)
  • Filling our questionaries and tests;
  • Fulfilling legal regulations.

You may ask for the correction and update of your data at any time, deny your previous consent for the processing of your data, or fully delete your data from our records. 


Data Access

The access of your personal records is limited to Hirestreet employees who participate in the selection process. 

Your personal data will be saved for the entirety of the recruitment process, and if your application is successful, then for the duration of employment and after your employment ends, until necessary for Hirestreet's and your legal rights and obligation.

If your application is unsuccessful, we will keep your personal data for 24 months after the selection process for the open position which you have applied for to keep you updated on new relevant job opportunities.
